Rockwall High School Stingerette Senior Showcase 2022: Harley Clark

ROCKWALL, TX (May 6, 2022) Our next Stingerette Showcase this week is Miss Harley Clark. Harley is the daughter of Jason and Jessica Clark.

Harley is a three-year member of Stingerettes where she currently serves as Head Junior-Varsity Instructor (JVI). She was also a JVI her Junior year. Harley is a three-year member of the Elite team, Showstoppers, as well as Kick Company, Hip-Hop Company and Tap Company. She was a Lieutenant for the Jacket Babes JV team her Freshman year where she was voted “Best Leadership”.

This year, Harley was honored to be selected as “Miss Drill Team 2022”. She was also named “Miss Perfect Beautiful 2022”. During her time on Stingerettes, Harley‘s teammates have voted her “Best Hip-Hop Dancer”, “Most Entertaining to Watch”, “Best Projection”, “Most Likely to Become a Drill-Team Director” and “Rookie of the Year” for the 2019–2020 season. Harley was also selected as “Stingerette of the Week” both her Sophomore and Junior year.

Some of the greatest team dance achievements from her senior year include Timeless Twelve JVI/RDI “2022 National Champions” and National Championships in Elite Jazz, Elite Novelty, Team Open and Team Lyrical, all at American Dance/Drill Team in Denton, TX.

Harley had the honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America dance team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January, 2022. She also performed with the Elite Team in Galveston in March this year.

In addition to Stingerettes, Harley has competed the past seven years with Dance FX Studio in Garland both on the Junior and Senior teams. For the 2022 season, the Dance FX Senior Company won “Best of the Best” at every Regional competition they attended and “Best of the Best” at Nationals as well.

Outside of dance, Harley is a member of the National Honor Society. She serves her community through the National Charity League, Lonestar Chapter, where she has been a member since 2016. She is a model for Hazel and Olive and Johnson and Co., both in Rockwall as well as Mia Bella Couture In Dallas.

In the Fall, Harley will be attending Baylor University to pursue a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
