ROCKWALL, TX (May 5, 2022) Meet Morgan Smith! She is the daughter of Kenneth and Kym Smith. Morgan is a 3-year member of Stingerettes and also danced her Freshman year with the RHS JV Jacket Babes. She is a Rockwall Dance Instructor (RDI), serving both her Junior and Senior years, assisting the William Middle School Drill Team. In addition to team dances, Morgan was a member of the Tap Team in 2021 and the Hip-Hop Team in 2021-2022.
In her time as a Stingerette she was awarded “Spirit Girl of the Week” in 2020, “Positive Polly” in 2021 and “Stingerette of the Week” in 2021. Some of the greatest dance achievements from her senior year include Timeless Twelve JVI/RDI “2022 National Champions”, “Team Lyrical 2022 National Champions” and “Team Open National Champions” all at American Dance/Drill Team in Denton, TX.
Morgan had the honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America Dance Team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January, 2022.
For the past 10 years, Morgan has trained with Studio M in Rockwall.
In the Fall, Morgan will be attending Oklahoma State University.
