Rockwall High School Stingerettes Senior Showcase 2022: Peyton Collier

ROCKWALL, TX (May 11, 2022) Our next Stingerette Senior Showcase is Peyton Collier. Peyton is the daughter of Clay and daughter of Clay Collier and Melodee Bailey.

Peyton is a three-year member of Stingerettes where she currently serves as Lieutenant and holds the title of “Mama Rette”. She is a three-year member of the Elite Team Showstoppers and a two-year member of Kick Company and Hip Hop Team.

Her Junior Year she was a Junior Lieutenant and her Freshman year, she was a Lieutenant with the RHS JV Jacket Babes.

As a Stingerette, Peyton was awarded “Miss High Kick Top 5” in 2021-2022 and “Best Turns” in 2020-2021.

In 2022, as a Stingerette soloist, Peyton placed 3rd at MA Dance Regionals, 2nd Runner-Up at American Dance/Drill Team (ADTS), and 2nd Runner-Up at ADTS in Galveston. In 2021 she won “2nd Runner-Up” at Crowd Pleasers, “Solo Finalist” at Showtime and “2nd Runner-Up at ADTS.

As a Jacket Babe, Peyton was a solo finalist at Showtime International Regional and was named “Second Runner Up Soloist” at ADTS Nationals.

Peyton shares with her fellow officers the titles, ADTS “National Champion Officers 2022” in Novelty, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She shares with the team ADTS “2022 National Champions” in Elite Jazz, Elite Novelty, Team Lyrical and Team Open.

Peyton had the honor of performing with the Stingerettes in the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of the Spirit of America dance team as well as performing at Walt Disney World in January, 2022. She also performed with the Elite Team in Galveston in March this year.

In addition to the high school drill team, she has competed the past three years with The Dance FX Studio in Garland which was recently named ADTS “2022 Studio National Champions”. In her early dance years, Peyton trained formally for 8 years at Royalty Dance Academy in Rockwall.

Outside of dance, Peyton serves her community through the National Charity League, Texas Pearl Chapter where she has been a member since 2016.

Peyton will attend Texas Christian University in the Fall and plans to study Marketing.
