Local nonprofit announces large scale support with Rockwall ISD elementary schools, churches

ROCKWALL, TX (June 22, 2022) – Student MPACT, a Rockwall-based nonprofit organization, has announced multiple partnerships with Rockwall Independent School District (RISD) and local churches in Rockwall, Heath and Rowlett communities.

Student MPACT is a nonprofit, community-based organization focused on uniting churches, schools, and businesses. The organization is instrumental in providing special care for local teachers and students. They work directly with elementary school principals and counselors to identify the families in most need. Programs offered within Student MPACT range from teacher meals, teacher snacks, teacher of the month awards, back-to-school support for families and holiday support for families in need. The organization is also recruiting volunteers for the district’s student mentoring program beginning in August of 2022.

“It’s so very rewarding to see the local businesses connect with schools, families and churches for true impact in the lives of others. We love the ministry component and think that the nonprofit and private sectors are filling a huge void in the community where this type of support is needed for so many families,” said Neely Holland, who is the Director of Community Relations for Student MPACT.

Rockwall ISD has 16 elementary schools, of which 12 have been matched with local businesses and churches. Student MPACT partners include Milestone Companies, Arkoma Companies, Voghera, Lime Media, Regal Realtors, WarehousePro, Brady Z. Hill Farmers Insurance, GMR Protection Resources (GMR), Lakeside Chevrolet, Special Products and Manufacturing (SPM) and Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting Rockwall.

Local churches include Lakepointe Church, New Horizon Vineyard, the Lakes Church and Crosspointe Church.

These strong community partnerships foster a level of commitment, care and involvement that connects the local business community to schools and churches.
