DALLAS/ROCKWALL COUNTY (June 13, 2022) – Weather permitting, east and westbound I-30 will intermittently narrow to one lane at Dalrock Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly starting Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 17 for striping work as part of the ongoing I-30 project.
Motorists should be aware of a traffic shift on I-30 later in the week as crews continue to work on the Dalrock Road interchange. Plan ahead for extra travel time and use caution while driving.<
This work is part of the $142 million project to build new frontage road bridges across the lake from Bass Pro Drive to Dalrock Road and rebuild the Dalrock Road interchange. Future projects will widen I-30 and add continuous frontage roads throughout Rockwall County. These I-30 projects are part of TxDOT’s Texas Clear Lanes effort to relieve congestion in major metropolitan areas.
