ROYSE CITY, TX (Oct. 24, 2022) Laramore – Osborne American Legion Post 100 presents the 40th Anniversary Vietnam Veterans Memorial “Reading of the Texan Names” Nov. 7 – 9 (Monday through Wednesday) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 300 N. Erby Campbell Blvd. in Royse City.
Guests speakers include State Texas Senator Bob Hall (USAF) on the 7th, Fate Mayor David Billings (USN) on the 8th, and McLendon-Chisholm Mayor Keith Short (USMC) on the 9th.
There are 3,419 Texas soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We will remember and honor each one of them as we say their name aloud. Everyone is encouraged to sign-up for a session in which 30 names will be read in a two minute period (if a youth group is interested please contact them directly.)
