ROCKWALL, TX (Dec. 12, 2022) Soroptmist Rockwall‘s newest project, providing diaper bags to new mothers through
the Pregnancy Resource Center in Rockwall, was proposed to the club by Rhonda Wright and was enthusiastically
approved. The Club paid for the bags and the books, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “What to
Expect the 1st Year.” Each bag contained both books.
Club members donated diapers, Onesies, burp pads, blankets, socks and caps, rash cream, pacifiers, bottles, baby wipes and lotions. The first batch of diaper bags were delivered in October.
Chartered in 1984, Soroptimist Rockwall comprises members who are active or retired dynamic business and professional women. They are part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
