ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 1, 2023) Women in Need will present their 11th Annual Chocolate Indulgence fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at Hidden Creek in Heath. This will be exceptionally special as they celebrate their 40th year as an organization.
Women in Need, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers both residential and non-residential services for victims of domestic violence in Rockwall, Hunt, and Rains counties.
WIN fulfills its mission by providing a 24/7 emergency hotline and shelter. WIN remains dedicated to protecting and advocating for survivors of domestic violence. They provide continued education on healthy relationships in the school systems of all the counties they serve. At its core, WIN strives to offer refuge, empowerment, and restoration to keep our communities and families safe. Your sponsorship and contributions help continue their fight to promote a secure today and safer tomorrow.
To recognize this milestone, the community is welcome to join WIN as they honor three individuals who have been instrumental in helping them achieve their goals while providing unparalleled support: Connie Pettitt, previous Executive Director of WIN; Father Keith Turberville, Rector at Holy Trinity By the Lake Episcopal Church; and Paul Renfro, of PRR Development and Classic Homes.
The theme of this year’s event is Roaring 20’s! Plan now to put on your best glad rags (appropriately 1920’s themed cocktail attire) and join them at the best juice joint around where you’ll enjoy great giggle juice while cutting a rug. You do not want to miss this shindig!
Festivities will include a Rollin’ Smoke Cigar Bar, ProviDance Performing Arts Center, DJ Kelly Hooper, a 4-foot Chocolate Fountain with a multitude of chocolate delicacies, photo booth provided by Rayson’s Creations, decorations provided by Kendall Kreationz, raffles, live auction and more.
