Fate to host a Don’t Mess with Texas – Texas Trash-off

Fate, TX (April 7, 2023) – The City of Fate is committed to enhancing the community environment by hosting their annual Community Clean Up event, taking place on Saturday, April 29.  The city invites individuals of all ages, organizations, and businesses to participate in the event and help keep Fate clean and beautiful.  Volunteer’s will register online, at FateTx.Gov before the event and check in at Robert Smith Family Park located at 1220 CD Boren Parkway.

This year, the City of Fate is proud to partner with Keep Texas Beautiful for the “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off and Community Clean Up”.  Through this partnership Fate is able to acquire more resources in beautifying our community.  The partnership also serves as an introduction to other programs hosted by Don’t Mess with Texas and Keep Texas Beautiful.

The Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off, hosted by Keep Texas Beautiful and the Texas Department of Transportation, serves as Texas’ signature event for the Great American Cleanup and is the single largest one-day cleanup event in the state. The program supports efforts to clear Texas roadsides of trash and will take place throughout Texas from April 1-30.
