Nominations underway for Rockwall Meals on Wheels ‘Older Americans Day’ celebration

ROCKWALL, TX (April 19, 2023) Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County i preparing for the annual Older Americans Day celebration, which this year will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 19 at Divine Peace Fellowship Hall, 305 S. Fannin St. in Rockwall.

This year’s theme is “Aging Unbound.”

Each May, Rockwall County organizations, the five city mayors, city government and individuals nominate several outstanding seniors (or those who serve them) to receive an award for making a difference in our community at large.
