“The Pro” Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Cook Time: 10 Minutes • Serving Size: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 hoagie bun
  • 8 ounces of raw sliced prime ribeye steak
  • 2 ounces of sliced green and red bell peppers
  • 1 ounce of sliced yellow onions
  • ½ ounce of butter
  • 2 slices of Swiss cheese
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Grab a skillet and turn it to medium-low heat.
  2. Sauté bell peppers and onions with butter until translucent.
  3. Add sliced prime ribeye steak to onions and bell pepper mixture.
  4. Add Montreal Steak Seasoning to mixture and fold in until cooked to desired steak temperature.
  5. To assemble the sandwich, place the cooked beef and veggie mixture onto a fresh hoagie bun. Top with Swiss cheese and melt under a broiler for 1 minute or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Au Jus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ ounce of beef base (such as Better Than Bouillon)
  • 1 cup of water
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Add beef base, a sprinkle of Montreal Steak Seasoning, and water to a saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil in a saucepan.
  3. Reduce ½ the liquid until you get a thick consistency.
