Rockwall, TX (May 5, 2023) – Our Senior Showcase continues with Miss Laynie Taylor. Laynie is a three-year member of the team and is the daughter of Kobi and Todd Taylor.
Laynie currently serves as a Rockwall Dance Instructor for Williams Middle School and is “Miss 50 Yard Line.” She is a member of the Showstoppers Elite Team and is also a member of the Hip Hop, Tap, and Kick Company. Laynie has received many awards including “Miss Star Dancer” in 2022, “Most Dramatic” 2021 and 2022, and “Stingerette Secret Keeper” 2022. She performed with the team in Walt Disney World in 2022 and also danced with her team in San Antonio in 2023.
Laynie performed with the ADTS National Champion JVI/RDI team and the ADTS National Champion Elite Team in 2023. In addition, she danced with the ADTS National Champion Team Jazz, Lyrical, Open, and Production team in 2023 as well as ADTS National Champion Elite Jazz, Novelty, and Open team in 2022.
Prior to Stingerettes, Laynie was a member of the JV Jacket Babe team where she was awarded “Jacket Babe of the Week” in 2019. She has also been a 12-year member of the Steppin’ Out Dance Company. While at Rockwall High School, Laynie has been a member of the Peer Assistance and Leadership (PALs) program and a member of the National Honor Society.
Laynie will be attending Texas State University where she will also be a member of the 2023-2024 Strutters Dance Team. She will pursue a degree in Marketing.
