ROYSE CITY, TX (Aug. 23, 2023) The community is invited to attend the OPEN HOUSE for the new Royse City College & Career Academy as well as the Agricultural Center, both located on the Royse City High School campus, 700 FM 2642.
The OPEN HOUSE includes a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11 followed by informal tours at 5:30.
The RCCCA is a 100,000 square foot expansion of the campus that offers students hands-on learning opportunities in areas like cybersecurity, fashion design, culinary arts, robotics, gaming, nursing, EMT training and more. It is a beautiful addition to RCHS that allows students to explore career opportunities and find new passions.
The adjacent Agricultural Center meets the needs of a booming FFA and ag program in the community. Both projects were made possible by community support of the May 2021 Bond Referendum.
OPEN HOUSE guests are advised to park in the Southside staff lot.
