Local husband and wife open neighborhood pet store to put a playful twist on pet product shopping

Pet Supplies Plus of Fate to Offer Array of Natural Foods, Toys, Goods & Hassle-Free Services 

FATE, TX (Sept. 7, 2023) – Pet Supplies Plus opened a location on August 18th at 5000 East I-30, Suite 140 in Fate and is offering local pet parents a hassle-free way to find better products for their pets, while saving them money and celebrating the fun of pet ownership. In addition, the store offers amenities such as self-pet wash stations, a knowledgeable pet care team and carry-out service in which team members carry heavy items to neighbors’ cars.

The store is owned by local entrepreneurs and husband-wife duo, Atiq and Hina Pradhan. Atiq was born and raised in Pakistan, coming to the United States when he was 16 years old. His first job was selling hermit crabs at a flea market, eventually opening two kiosks in his local malls. This passion for pets and the overall industry remained as his career journey led to becoming a franchisee with Pet Supplies Plus. Hina is currently a registered nurse who is excited to break into the pet business alongside her husband. Together the Pradhan’s love being the proud owners of a Pet Supplies Plus and serving the Fate community.

As community partners the Pradhan’s will partner with local animal shelters, rescue organizations and non-profits to host year-round adoption events, fundraisers and pet food and product drives.

• Sunday, Sept. 17 – First 100 people will receive one free small bag of Redford Naturals dog or cat food

In addition, neighbors will have an opportunity to win either a $250, $100, or $50 gift card by entering the location’s grand opening raffle.
