Iconic Tex-Mex restaurant bringing fresh food and fun atmosphere to Terrell
TERRELL, TX (October 26, 2023) – Chuy’s, Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant, is opening in Terrell this December. The restaurant will be located at 300 TX-557 Spur and is scheduled to host their grand opening on Tuesday, December 5.
Founded in 1982, Chuy’s offers a unique dining experience including fresh, made from scratch Tex-Mex recipes in a fun, eclectic atmosphere. The menu features authentic dishes created with hand-rolled tortillas made fresh all day.
“We’re so excited to be opening in Terrell”, said Jason Crane, local owner and operator for the new Chuy’s. “We’ve received so many requests to open in Terrell and are thrilled to share our passion for fresh food and unique flair with this awesome community.”
Chuy’s is hiring for a variety of full and part-time positions, including managers, servers, hosts, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen team members.

Chuy’s Terrell will serve lunch and dinner Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. On weekdays from 3-6 p.m. patrons can enjoy Chuy’s happy hour, complete with drink specials and $5 chips and dip appetizers.
