Rockwall, TX (October 10, 2023) – On Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Rockwall Police Department will be hosting a Substance Abuse Forum at Gene Burton College and Career Academy at 2301 John King Blvd, in Rockwall, TX. The forum is intended for parents and teens to learn about the current substance abuse climate. The event will be comprised of panelists from the Medical Community, Law Enforcement, Treatment/Recovery, and we will hear from the parents of a 15-year-old boy from Central Texas who died of Fentanyl poisoning.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions to the board electronically during the event on related topics for which they have questions. No RSVP is required and we look forward to seeing you there!
