Retired Rockwall County Sheriff, former president of Nat’l Sheriff’s Association Harold Eavenson endorses Katrina Pierson

ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 10, 2024) Sheriff Eavenson faithfully served Rockwall County for 20 years and brought in many positive changes for not only law enforcement but also the quality of life for our whole community. In 2007, he was elected to the National Sheriffs’ Association board of directors and was co-chair of the National Sheriffs’ Association Border Security Committee for 6 years. He went on to serve as secretary, treasurer, and vice president of the NSA before he was chosen to become the 5th Texan and 76th President of the organization in the summer of 2017. He notes his term as NSA president as one of his most proudest accomplishments of his career.

On the HD 33 race, Eavenson issued the following statement:

“Katrina Pierson is exactly who we need representing our district at such a pivotal time in our state. I stand firmly with her and know she will get the job done.”

Pierson released the following statement:

“I am honored to have the support of Sheriff Eavenson and other honorable retired law enforcement officers from across the district. I am committed to supporting all first responders and their families.”
