ROCKWALL, TX (March 22, 2024) – Patriot PAWS Service Dogs will celebrate the placement and graduation of four new Veteran/Service Dog Teams at 1 p.m. Friday, March 22 at their Rockwall campus, 254 Ranch Trail, Rockwall, TX 75032.
On Monday, March 11, 2024, four United States Veterans began their two-week process of receiving a Service Dog from Patriot PAWS Service Dogs. Graduates from the states of Texas, Colorado, and Kentucky partook in Patriot PAWS’ Spring 2024 Graduation.
On Friday, May 22, 2024, the four new teams will be officially recognized as a Graduating Veteran/Service Dog Team from Patriot PAWS, creating a total of 500+ Service Dogs placed from the program since its inception in 2006.
“As always, this has been a wonderful graduating class,” said Lori Stevens, Founder & Executive Director of Patriot PAWS Service Dogs. “We have loved watching the Veterans and Service Dogs bond over these last two weeks and have no doubt they will go on to accomplish amazing things together.”
Patriot PAWS currently has Service Dog Teams located in 43 states and over 70 Veterans still waiting to receive a Service Dog from their program. Each Patriot PAWS Service Dog takes 18 – 24 months to train at a cost of $46,000 however, recipients will never receive a bill as Patriot PAWS firmly believes they have already made such sacrifices for our freedoms.

Founded in 2006 by Lori Stevens, Patriot PAWS Service Dogs is a Rockwall, TX based national non-profit that trains and provide Service Dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American Veterans, and others, who suffer from Mobile Disabilities, Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’s).
