Rockwall Rotary Club to host District 5810 Annual District Conference

Rockwall, TX (March 6, 2024) – Rockwall Rotary Club and District Governor John Curtis, a member of the Rockwall club, are honored to announce Rockwall as the host site for Rotary District 5810 Boots and Bling Annual Conference on April 12 and 13.

District 5810 includes over 2,500 Rotarians in 65 Clubs in Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties.

The annual event includes fellowship and service projects, concluding with a Saturday evening banquet.

The weekend events kick off with a golf tournament and fellowship dinner on Friday night. Following the motto of “Service Above Self” the annual conference would not be complete without a service project.  This year attendees will gather on Saturday to pack summer bags for the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas with fun and educational activities to encourage learning and critical thinking skills throughout the summer.

The unforgettable Saturday evening event features an inspirational message from guest speaker Past Rotary International President, John Germ, as Rotarians from across the district celebrate Rotary achievements. The Western themed banquet also includes an evening of dancing and live music by Johnny Lyons Band.
