Rowlett, Texas (April 30, 2024) – Laurel Ridge Stables is excited to announce another magical summer of week-long horse riding camps. The immensely popular Tiny Tot unicorn camp will also return. Specializing in English saddleseat riding, Laurel Ridge Stables offers an idyllic setting for kids to live out their equestrian dreams. Camps are available for children ages 7-14 and 4-6 and are appropriate for all experience levels. Registration is now open.
Summer Camp: Campers age 7-14 will enjoy daily private riding lessons, group lessons, and a horse show performance for parents on Friday at pick up. Campers will get tons of hands-on horse time, both on horseback and on the ground. Confidence grows throughout the week as campers learn or improve many skills, including horse safety, care, grooming, feeding, daily horse crafts, and so much more! The camp certificate system gives kids the opportunity to “level up” their equine abilities and learn a new skill set each week they attend, making camp great for any skill level!
$550/week | Monday-Friday 9 am-3 pm | June 3-7, June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28
Tiny Tots Camp: What is a noble knight or a brave, fair lady without their very own trusty steed? Three mischievous mules have stolen the Laurel Ridge Stables unicorn’s magic, and the unicorn needs the help of the tiniest and mightiest equestrians to get it back! Monday-Friday from 9 am-12 pm, children will help care for and ride a few very special horses, engaging in age-appropriate horse activities, learning skills necessary to find and unlock treasure boxes where the mules have hidden the unicorn magic. At pick-up on Friday, if campers have completed their quest, the Laurel Ridge Stables unicorn will be restored to her rightful, magical splendor, sporting her unicorn horn for pictures and a riding demonstration! Can your tiny tot help our unicorn find her magic?
$350/week | Monday-Friday 9 am-12 pm | June 10-14, June 24-28, and July 1-5
