Dan Becker Brings Experience and Outdoor Expertise to the Organization

ROCKWALL, TX (April 17, 2024) – The Bucket Ministry, a non-profit organization sharing God’s love through the gift of clean, safe, drinking water, announced today that outdoor professional and social media influencer Dan Becker has been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Becker is known for his outdoor adventures and product reviews on YouTube, where he has over 400,000 subscribers. He also creates content on Facebook and Instagram.

Becker’s relationship with The Bucket Ministry began after a product review of a Sawyer filter, which is used by the non-profit to provide clean water to thousands. Becker visited Kibera, one of the largest slums in Africa, where The Bucket Ministry is working to provide 100% of residents with access to clean water. He documented his experience on his YouTube channel in 2023 and has continued to partner with The Bucket Ministry and Sawyer.

Dan has been an enthusiastic advocate of The Bucket Ministry and has helped us share our story with many thousands of people around the country,” said chairman Jeff Waters. “We are very grateful to have Dan on our Board of Directors and believe his enthusiasm, networking and communication skills will be a great example for all of us to learn from.”

Though Becker is now a full-time outdoor professional, he has a background in ministry and is actively involved in his local church. He says his faith factors into all his endeavors.

“My ultimate goal is to use my influence to lead people to Jesus in any way possible,” said Becker. “Through partnership with Sawyer and The Bucket Ministry, I have the opportunity to combine my faith and my passion for the outdoors to make a true impact in the lives of others around the world.”

The Bucket Ministry’s Board of Directors is comprised of 10 members, each of which has spent time on the field with the organization.

“It’s really special that each of our members have experienced our work first-hand on the field,” said Christopher Beth, founder, chief storyteller and director of The Bucket Ministry. “They have seen the impact access to clean water and Jesus, the Living Water, make in the communities we serve, and they understand our goals from the ground level.
