Rockwall, TX (May 13, 2024) – Next up for our Stingerette Senior Spotlight is Ava Dalton. Ava is a three-year member of the team and the daughter of Erika and Wes Dalton. This year she is Vice President on Social Council.
Ava has been a member of Kick Company, Tap Company and the Hip Hop Team. Earlier this year, she was named Stingerette of the Week.
She danced on this year’s ADTS 2023-2024 National Champion Super Team which also won Best of the Best Team. The team earned the ADTS Wow Award in the Production Category and was named A Wish Come True Team. The team placed second in the International Division.
Ava was also a member of the Jacket Babe Junior Varsity Drill Team during her freshman year. This team earned the title of National Champion and Best of the Best Team at ADTS Nationals in 2021.
Ava has been involved in school through National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and National Art Honor Society where she served as Treasurer this year. She also participated in the Weather Club and Girls Excelling in Math and Science Club. Ava is a six-year member of the Lone Star Chapter of National Charity League where she has actively volunteered in the community. She has served weekly with Rockwall Pets caring for the adoption kittens at Petco.
Ava has been active in studio dance since the age of three. She spent seven years dancing with Rockwall Dance Academy and performed in their annual Nutcracker Ballet six of those years.
Performances and all the fun with her best friends during practices will be among Ava’s favorite Stingerette memories.
Ava will be attending the University of Arkansas this fall to pursue a degree in Human Resources in the Honors Program within the Walton School of Business.
