ROCKWALL, TX (Aug. 20, 2024) –Rockwall City Manager Mary Smith is proposing a reduced tax rate of 24.745 cents per $100 of assessed value for the upcoming fiscal year, October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. This represents a decrease of 2.27 cents from the previous year, reflecting the City’s commitment to maintaining low taxes.
The budget process continues with a public hearing on Tuesday, September 3 at 6pm. City Council will consider adoption on the FY2025 budget on Monday, September 16.
