Registration underway for HomeBank Texas’ community education series

ROCKWALL, TX (Nov. 7, 2024) HomeBank Texas, an independent, locally owned bank with branches in Rockwall, Seagoville, and Dallas, has partnered with Texas Bankers Association to present a free, virtual, community education series  focusing on financial literacy. The first installment was very well received and featured Landon Lowry, HBTX President and CEO, speaking on the importance of banking at a bank within your community. A financial planning workshop followed with Joe Wimpee, Farmers Insurance, presenting on dividends, market fluctuations and the simplicity of investing.

Next up in the series is Eric Stacey, HBTX Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer, presenting “Small Business Loans, A-Z” from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. Eric will cover:

• Types of Small Business Loans
– Term Loans for equipment, business acquisition and inventory
