Rockwall, TX (January 3, 2025) – Texas Health hospitals celebrated 2025 by welcoming babies born on New Year’s Day.
Ian White, a boy, was the first baby of 2025 at Texas Health Hospital Rockwall. Ian was born at 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, January 2. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. He was welcomed by parents Ashlee and Isaiah White.
The first New Year’s baby, for the entire Texas Health system, was born in Dallas on Wednesday, New Year’s Day. David Harkins, a baby boy, was born at 1:22 a.m. at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. He weighed 4 pounds, 15 ounces.
Just minutes later, twins were born in Fort Worth. Parents Amy Christian and Mason Skillern welcomed twins Amy Brynn and Christopher Bennett at 1:29 a.m. Wednesday at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
The New Year’s baby at each Texas Health hospital received a gift basket filled with newborn essentials to help celebrate their special birthday.
