Fate, TX (February 7, 2025) – Fate Department of Public Safety Detectives have arrested a resident of Fate, TX who was charged with three counts of PC 43.26 Possession of Child Pornography (d)(2)(B) and one charge of PC 37.09 (C) Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence. ($340,000 in total bonds).
In December of 2024, Fate DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) was notified of a CyberTip from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) data system utilized by the Dallas Police Department’s ICAC Unit. The CyberTip originates from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). This CyberTip initiated a two-month long investigation of a City of Fate resident. On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, CID Detectives and ICAC investigators, with assistance from Rockwall Police Department executed a search warrant at the suspect’s address.
The search of the residence resulted in locating the suspect and electronic devices related to possession of Child Pornography. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Rockwall County Detention Center without further incident.
