Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas honors community champions at 2025 Youth of the Year Gala

ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX (March 18, 2025) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas hosted an unforgettable evening of celebration, inspiration, and impact at the 2025 Youth of the Year Gala on March 7th at the Hilton Rockwall Lakefront.

The event brought together community leaders, supporters, and Club advocates to honor the outstanding youth and dedicated individuals who make a difference in the lives of local children.

At the heart of the evening was the recognition of Aniah O., the 2025 Youth of the Year, whose inspiring journey and commitment to leadership embody the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Guests were moved by her story and the collective impact that the Clubs have on thousands of young people across Hunt and Rockwall counties.

In addition to celebrating Aniah, the Gala recognized extraordinary individuals whose dedication to youth development has shaped countless futures:

Champion of the Child – Rockwall County: Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church – Honored for their unwavering support and advocacy for children, ensuring they have access to vital resources and opportunities to thrive.

Champion of the Child – Hunt County: City of Greenville – Recognized for their commitment to empowering young people in Hunt County through mentorship, advocacy, and generous support.

Ben Parks Award: Edward Loar – This prestigious award, named in honor of Ben Parks, celebrates a leader whose passion and dedication to the Boys & Girls Clubs mission have left a lasting impact on the community.Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed live entertainment, a dynamic auction, and heartfelt testimonials from Club members, all reinforcing the importance of investing in our youth. The funds raised from the event will directly support mentorship programs, academic initiatives, and essential resources that help young people succeed in school and in life.
