Jules Corder IV announces run for Rockwall City Council, Place 3

ROCKWALL, TX (March 3, 2025) I Jules H. Corder IV am excited to announce that I am running for Rockwall City Council Place 3.  With over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and construction in the private sector, and the past five years serving in The City of Forney one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, I am passionate about bringing practical, experience-based leadership to our community.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to manage and lead complex projects that have shaped and transformed communities. From urban planning to civil infrastructure development, and Construction of projects such as the Amazon DDX7 and FTW5 Distribution Facilities as well as multiple other 500,000 to 1.3 Million Sqft. Commercial buildings, residential developments, and the Capital Improvements Projects for Water, Sewer, Roadways, and Parks Department. I have worked hands-on in the areas that impact our daily lives. This experience has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to balance all the growth with sustainability and to make informed decisions that will be beneficial to  everyone in our city.

Having worked in a city experiencing rapid growth, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges and opportunities that arise from such changes. I know how important it is to plan for the future while being mindful of the present needs of our community. I am committed to ensuring our city’s infrastructure, public services, and neighborhoods continue to thrive as we grow, all while maintaining the quality of life we cherish here in Rockwall.

As a candidate for Rockwall City Council Place 3, I bring a unique perspective that combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to the well-being of our residents. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our city’s development is responsible, our resources are utilized wisely, and our voices are heard in every decision.

Together, we can build a city that is not only efficient and sustainable but also one that fosters opportunity and inclusivity for all.
