Rockwall, TX (March 26, 2025) – Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County is turning up the volume and turning on the charm with its 2nd Annual Gone Country Music Fest, set for Saturday, July 19 at a brand new indoor venue, Tate Farms of Rockwall.
The event promises an unforgettable evening of music, mouthwatering BBQ by the legendary Eddie Deen, a variety of local vendors, raffles, a cash bar, and of course, a lineup of top-tier Texas country talent—all to support a vital cause: raising funds for the Senior Life Center Capital Campaign.
This year’s headliner, Billie Jo Jones, fresh off her win as Female Vocalist of the Year at the Texas Regional Radio Awards, will take center stage and light up the night with her powerhouse vocals and heartfelt lyrics. In a moving statement on social media, Jones shared:
“This award isn’t just for me. It’s for every woman who has ever dared to dream, every girl who has ever picked up a guitar and sang her heart out… I promise to always use my voice to tell stories that matter, to sing from the heart, and to stay true to the roots that brought me here.”
Supporting acts include a dynamic lineup of Texas-based artists who’ll bring the boot-stomping energy all night long – Grace Partridge, Matt Fisher, Johnny Lyons, and Austin Valladarez.
More than just a night of great music, Gone Country is a chance for the community to come together and support Rockwall’s seniors. As the local senior and disabled population continues to grow, so does the need for a dedicated Senior Life Center—a hub for wellness, resources, and connection.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at Tate Farms, a family-owned working horse and cattle ranch at 12992 FM 548 in Rockwall County.
