ROCKWALL, TX (April 23, 2025) What happens when you gather over 220 people who share a vision of enhancing education in Rockwall TX on a Friday night at a bowling alley? You raise more than $44,000 which will facilitate student achievement and skill development, and recognize and encourage staff excellence in Rockwall ISD!
The Rockwall ISD Education Foundation is delighted with the outcome of this year’s event. Community leaders, business partners, co-workers and REFriends brought their best game faces, themed outfits and competitive spirits, all in support of Rockwall ISD students and educators. “We’re incredibly thankful to all our bowlers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and guests who came out to support the REF,” said Ashlei Neill, Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “Events like this show the power of community coming together for a great cause, especially during this critical time when support and resources are limited due to insufficient state funding.”
A big thank you to all the sponsors who generously contributed to the success of the event, including Silver sponsors: LPA, Inc. Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, Mueller Family Law/Rob McAngus and Satterfield & Pontikes Construction; Bronze sponsor – Glenn Partners, Photo Booth sponsor – Oncor, Roving Photographer sponsor – Young Chefs Academy; Premium Lane sponsors: Frost Bank, Guaranty Bank, Rockwall Floor & Paint, Michael Joyce Properties, Spine Team of Texas and Caren Williams. Also, thank you to the Lane sponsors Capital Title of Texas, Mitch Ownby, Pet Memories, Rest Haven Funeral Home, and The Flower Box.
The Silent Auction, sponsored by Dr. Catherine Casteel, garnered as much competition as the lanes did, with items provided by Racquet & Jog, Petrissage Massage, Whataburger, Coach N BBQ, SpringHill Suites, Skin Envy, Chick fil A, Guaranty Bank and X-Golf Rockwall…just to name a few.
While the students of Rockwall ISD were the big winners, there were a few pieces of hardware that were awarded that evening: Grand Champions – Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Inc., First Place Losers – Make Bowling Great Again hosted by Cindy Tayem, Most Creative Team Name – “Account Slayables” from the Rockwall ISD finance department, Most Stylish Alley Attire – Bowlin With My Homes from Hays Elementary, Most Spirited Team – Leadership Rockwall Class of 2025 and Highest Scoring Campus – The District Fights Back from Dobbs Elementary. Thank you to Atmos, Dwight & Don’s Auto Care, Lacy Deckard Realtor and Packer Brick for sponsoring our trophies this year.
