Businesswoman Cindy Horne wins election to Heath City Council

HEATH, TX (May 5, 2025) — Heath businesswoman, community leader, and member of the Heath Board of Adjustments, Cindy Horne, won her campaign for the Place 1 seat on Heath City Council, earning more than 71% of the vote.

A native Texan, Horne’s campaign emphasized a commitment to giving the residents of Heath a transparent voice on the city council that is focused on improving infrastructure, water accessibility, and the economic environment of Heath and its surrounding communities.

“I am incredibly humbled to be entrusted with this opportunity by the voters in Heath to be one of their voices on City Council,” said Cindy Horne. “I am truly grateful for all of those who supported me and helped me throughout this campaign.”

“When I launched my campaign, I promised to be a transparent leader who will stand up for our city’s residents and who will work to keep Heath the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I’m excited to get to work in serving the community I care so much about,” Horne concluded.

Cindy Horne is a native Texan, a successful business owner, and community leader running for the Heath City Council. Cindy is currently the Precinct 3C Chair and serves on the City of Heath’s Board of Adjustments. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Education. Cindy and her husband live in Rockwall, Texas and have three children. They are members of Lakeshore Church.
