Sweet, tart, and smart: Rockwall’s Lemonade Day brews big wins

ROCKWALL, TX (May 7, 2025) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce‘s third annual Lemonade Day was a resounding success, and we couldn’t be more proud of the incredible young entrepreneurs who participated in this year’s Junior Market. From the moment the stands opened, it was clear that these kids had poured their hearts, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit into every detail, and the results were truly impressive.

This year’s participants wowed customers and judges alike with their innovative recipes, eye-catching branding, and outstanding customer service. But beyond the sweet treats and beautifully designed booths, these young business owners also gained something far more valuable: real-world experience. Throughout the day, they practiced essential business skills like marketing, sales, money management, and teamwork, all while having a blast and connecting with their community.

Of course, the event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our extended Lemonade Day community. We want to give a huge THANK YOU to our Lemon Council members, dedicated volunteers, tasting judges, and especially our sponsors. Your time, energy, and generosity helped make this day memorable for every participant and guest.

Events like Lemonade Day remind us that with a little guidance and a supportive community, young people can achieve incredible things. Their success on Saturday was more than just a day of fun — it was a celebration of their hard work, creativity, and dedication. And we’re not done yet!
