ROCKWALL, TX (June 25, 2025)- Lone Star CASA started their Clays for CASA event a decade ago, with a few goals in mind—provide a way for participants to hone their skills…right before dove season kicks off—and help support area children. Win-win, right?
Clays for CASA is held at the Texas Gun Ranch in Terrell, and this year’s event takes place on August 15. All the proceeds benefit Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to ensure that 100% of children who have experienced abuse and neglect in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties have an advocate by their side.
Clays for CASA is the perfect way for community members and businesses to “Aim to End Child Abuse.” You can get involved by bringing a team of shooters, sponsoring the event or volunteering during the shoot. There will be an 18-station clay shoot course, professional scoring so you can see how you stack up, a raffle of a sought-after 12-gauge Browning Citori 725 Sporting Shotgun, breakfast and lunch, and bidding on many silent auction items donated by local businesses & community members.
“The way our community shows up for CASA kids through this event is absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to see even more attendees this upcoming August.” said Lauren Rowe, Executive Director of Lone Star CASA.
Community members also have the opportunity to promote their business through the Clays for CASA event with sponsorships; information on those sponsorships can be found at lonestarcasa.org/clays. The deadline to register is August 1, 2025.
Lone Star CASA is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 1992 serving children in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties who have experienced abuse and neglect.
