Rockwall-based Fueling Families DFW hosts spirit night at Soulman’s on June 30, 2025

ROCKWALL, TX (June 30, 2025) – Fueling Families DFW celebrates one year! Fueling Families DFW was founded on June 12, 2024 to help address food poverty in the DFW Metroplex. Since founding, we have funded nearly 200 meal kits, 50 holiday kits, and 50 school supply kits.

To celebrate the one year anniversary, Fueling Families donated 100 shelf stable family sized meal kits to local food pantries, including Helping Hands of Rockwall County. To raise money for future kits, Fueling Families is hosting our first ever spirit night at Soulman’s Bar-B-Que off of I-30 in Rockwall from 5:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30. Each receipt will go into a raffle for 4 Dallas Star tickets, a dessert box, and more!
