ROCKWALL, TX (Sept. 19, 2025) We would like to introduce ourselves to the community! We are a sensory gym and a safe haven for all children. What exactly is a “sensory gym?” It’s a place where you exercise both your body and mind in a way that promotes sensory development and regulation. Many children both neurotypical and neurodivergent have sensory needs! Our specially designed equipment can help all children feel regulated while having fun!
We Rock the Spectrum – Rockwall was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy, we have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders. However, in our experience, all children are able to benefit greatly from this equipment and by allowing children of all ability levels to play together, they are able to learn a great deal from each other. In turn, this becomes the best motivation for success on every level!
At We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym, we provide Play With A Purpose™. Play With A Purpose is exercising and stimulating any of the seven senses through positive physical, emotional and social development. These seven senses include sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, the vestibular system, and proprioception. Our specially designed sensory-safe equipment and the classes that we offer all work to encourage these!
We offer We Rock Care services: Respite & Break Time Care and One-to-One Assistance. Our Respite & Break Time Care is designed to provide a break for families with children with special needs. We understand how difficult it is to balance the needs of siblings, spouses, or themselves, so this service is designed with caregivers in mind. Children without a special needs diagnosis may also use this service.
During times when school is out, we offer Camps designed to enrich children with sensory, social, and academic needs. We also are offering families Parents Night Out events where parents can drop their children off in our safe location supervised by our staff members. We will provide dinner and entertainment while parents are able to take the much needed time for themselves.
We are open from 9am – 6pm and are offering opportunities for birthday parties, various classes, and many other special events! We would love your help in spreading the word that we are here and are ready to be another resource to meet the needs of our community’s families!
