‘Christmas in Heath’ set for Dec. 5 at Standard Service

ROCKWALL, TX (Nov. 13, 2025) The City of Heath’s beloved holiday tradition continues this season from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. While Towne Center Park remains closed for final renovation, this year’s celebration will take place at Standard Service (4240 Ridge Road). The City’s Special Events Board extends appreciation to Heath resident and Standard Service owner Elias Pope for hosting the community event.

Families can look forward to all the classic favorites—photos with Santa, live reindeer, miniature train rides, glow-with-Rudolph fun, letters to Santa, and complimentary home-baked cookies provided by the Lone Star and Pearl NCL Chapters and boys team charity Lakeside League. The evening features food trucks, Culpepper’s live fire cooking, the full Standard Service menu, and Santa’s Souvenir Shoppe stocked with Heath merchandise.

Live music begins at 5:30 p.m. with the Rockwall-Heath High School Jazz Band and Drumline, followed by Memphis Soul.

To make arrival easy—and festive—trolley bus shuttles with Christmas caroling will run 5 to 10 p.m. from four pickup locations: Tom Thumb on Laurence Drive, Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church Heath, and Heath First United Methodist Church. Guests may also Uber to the event and enjoy a FREE Uber home, courtesy of the Heath Police and Fire Association.

Christmas in Heath is presented by the City of Heath Special Events Board, chaired by Jenni Knox with members Amanda Rosander, Tami Hogan, Karen Myers, and Sandra Ownby.
