ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rockwall County accredited by The Joint Commission

Rockwall County (November 12, 2025) – ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rockwall County was recently accredited by The Joint Commission, earning the organization’s Gold Seal of Approval® by demonstrating continuous compliance with performance standards to provide safe, quality patient care. The Joint Commission’s hospital standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients. These standards are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help hospitals measure, assess, and improve performance.

ClearSky Rockwall County is a 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital that provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or medically-complex conditions.

To achieve accreditation, ClearSky Rockwall County underwent a rigorous onsite review by a team of Joint Commission surveyors who evaluated the hospital’s compliance with standards across key clinical and operational areas. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.

“We’re committed to providing our patients with superior, specialized care to help them regain independence, maximize their recoveries, and return to the activities that they enjoy,” says Jason Hudson, CEO of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Rockwall County. “ClearSky Rockwall County’s accreditation reflects this commitment to providing safe, effective, quality care to our community.”

ClearSky Rockwall County opened this past September and will treat about 650 patients a year.
