ROCKWALL, TX (Nov. 30, 2025) I’m not sure I can find the perfect words to describe what unfolded last night behind Encounter Church in Fate—but I’ll try.
Turnbuckles & Toys, the Toys for Tots pro-wrestling fundraiser presented by Rockwall Toys for Tots and EPW (Ephesians Pro Wrestling), delivered a level of intensity, heart, and unexpected fun that I simply was not prepared for. Hosted inside “The Lordatorium” at 3025 I-30 East, this high-energy, family-friendly event blended the spectacle of pro wrestling with a powerful message of faith—reminding all of us that community, compassion, and good old-fashioned entertainment can share the same stage.

With admission costing just two unwrapped toys, families poured in, arms full, hearts open. By the time the first bell rang, more than 150 people filled the venue, including several local elected officials. A staggering 77,236 viewers watched live on Abundant Television. Blue Ribbon News was honored to be there in person—front row seats and all—as proud media sponsor of Toys for Tots (don’t miss our December cover story).

EPW, a 501(c)(3) ministry, uses the art of professional wrestling to share the Gospel, and last night their mission was on full display. The athletes of all ages brought grit and showmanship, but also testimonies, unity, and an unmistakable spirit of purpose. The match lineup built to a thrilling finale that crowned “HBO” as the first-ever Toys for Tots Champion—and the roar from the crowd said it all.

The night also celebrated generosity in action. The Rockwall County Republican Men’s Club presented EPW with a $4,250 check, further fueling the ministry’s impact. Every toy donated and every dollar given helps make Christmas possible for children across our community.
And speaking of powerful moments—Worship leader and singer Brittany Jenkins delivered a musical performance as strong as the message behind the night itself. Her voice filled the Lordatorium with the same spirit, conviction, and electricity that charged every match in the ring, reminding us that faith and fellowship were the true main event.

And the action doesn’t stop here—EPW returns next weekend with two more events:
• Saturday – Steel Salvation (Cage Wrestling)
• Sunday – EPW Kids Winter Warfare 2025
Thank you to everyone who showed up, tuned in, donated, cheered, volunteered, and wrestled their hearts out. Nights like this remind me why I love this community—and why good news matters.
As Media Sponsor for Rockwall Toys for Tots, Blue Ribbon News was honored to be in the house to capture every slam, suplex, smile, and moment of mission-driven mayhem.
