ROCKWALL, TX (Dec. 23, 2025) Members of the Rockwall County Criminal District Attorney’s Office participated in a community service project clothes drive this holiday season. Their efforts benefited two local non-profits: Women in Need and One Man’s Treasure.
These two non-profits were not chosen randomly. Women in Need supports victims of domestic violence. They have a clothes boutique, “My Sister’s Closet”, that is open to the public and generates funds to support their efforts. They also open their stores to victims who are looking for clothing to start a new life or prepare for a job interview. One Man’s Treasure supports men who have served a prison sentence and are ready to start a new productive life by interviewing or starting jobs.
The project was led by Felony Prosecutor Jamie Manion and Felony Investigator PJ Allen. “It was our pleasure to work with the amazing people at the DA’s office to fill a need within our community,” they said.
“The DA’s Office mission is to see that justice is done,” said Rockwall County Criminal District Attorney Kenda Culpepper. “We know that consequences matter. But once that mission has been fulfilled, we hope and pray that victims – and offenders – can move beyond the situation and start to live productive lives. We are proud to support those who are ready to get back on their feet.”
