Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas announces 2nd Annual Youth of the Year Gala

An inspiring evening uniting community leaders and celebrating the next generation of changemakers.

Rockwall, TX (January 29, 2026) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Youth of the Year Gala, taking place Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the elegant Hilton Rockwall Lakefront.

This powerful evening will bring together prominent community leaders, local businesses, and supporters to recognize and uplift the remarkable young people of Hunt and Rockwall Counties. The Youth of the Year Gala celebrates courage, leadership, and resilience—highlighting the young voices shaping the future of our community.

Throughout the night, guests will hear inspiring stories from Club members across all sites, including special remarks from Junior Youth of the Year participants, who are developing leadership skills and confidence at an early age. The program will culminate in the recognition of the 2026 Youth of the Year, the highest honor a Club member can receive. The Youth of the Year Gala is more than an event it is a call to action. Attendees are invited to be part of meaningful change by supporting programs that help young people build confidence, set goals, and discover their potential. The evening will feature a chef-crafted dinner, live entertainment, high-energy live and silent auctions, and an exclusive after party that continues the celebration.

In 2025, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas unified its Hunt County and Rockwall County Youth of the Year celebrations into one regional gala creating a more impactful experience for youth and attendees alike. Building on that success, the 2026 Gala promises to be an even more powerful evening of inspiration, connection, and community leadership.

Proceeds from the event directly support programs that provide academic enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, healthy meals, and safe spaces for youth across the region.
