ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 21, 2026) — Rockwall-Heath High School Theatre invites the community to experience the powerful and haunting musical Hadestown: Teen Edition, running January 21–24 in the Rockwall-Heath High School Performing Arts Center.
Based on ancient Greek mythology and set to a stirring folk- and jazz-inspired score, Hadestown tells the intertwined stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, as well as King Hades and Persephone. The musical explores themes of love, sacrifice, hope, and the strength of storytelling, all through unforgettable music and poetic lyrics by Anaïs Mitchell.
The Rockwall-Heath student cast and crew have been working tirelessly to bring this emotionally rich production to life. Hadestown: Teen Edition has been thoughtfully adapted for young performers while preserving the heart and message of the Tony Award–winning Broadway musical.
