Dr. Catherine Casteel Announces Write-In Candidacy for Rockwall City Council, Place 4

ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 23, 2026) Dr. Catherine Casteel recently announced that she is running as a write-in candidate for Rockwall City Council, Place 4.

“As a physician, small business owner, and longtime Rockwall community volunteer, I am committed to helping our city plan responsibly for the future while protecting the quality of life that makes Rockwall special,” Dr. Casteel said. “My priorities include smart growth that protects neighborhoods, thoughtful infrastructure planning to improve traffic flow, responsible economic development, and dependable city services.”

Because this is a write-in campaign, voters who wish to support Dr. Casteel must select the write-in option on the ballot and type “Catherine Casteel” for City Council Place 4 for their vote to be counted.

Dr. Casteel has been active in Rockwall through local volunteer work, civic initiatives, and community service. She and her husband, Gerald, a United States Army veteran, raised their two children in Rockwall, and she owns and operates her medical practice serving patients from Rockwall and the surrounding communities.
