ROCKWALL, TX (March 11, 2026) Rockwall-based Poiema Foundation, a human trafficking prevention and resource center, will host its fifth annual Comedy for a Cause event featuring comedian Mike Goodwin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 24 at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Parkway in Carrollton. Tickets are $40 until March 27; $50 after that, available at poiemafoundation.org.
Poiema Foundation’s mission is to educate the public and raise awareness to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other methods of sexual exploitation. They help with the restoration journey of survivors in their safe house by providing for their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
