HEATH, TX (April 16, 2026) Lily Johnson, a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School, is the daughter of Brent and Allison Johnson. Lily has spent nearly 15 years pursuing her passion for dance, beginning at the age of three. She trained for nine years at Royalty Dance Academy and continued her dance journey through drill team, dancing with the Cain Mustang Drill Team before joining the JV Starsteppers and later the varsity Highsteppers, where she proudly serves as a Forever Girl.
Throughout her dance career, Lily has received several honors and leadership opportunities. She was named Miss Drill Team and served as a JV Instructor and Head Cain Instructor, as well as an officer for the Cain Mustang Dancers. Reflecting on her time as a Highstepper, Lily says she has learned the importance of valuing every moment and never taking the memories for granted. She shares that the sisterhood and experiences she has gained through the team will stay with her long after graduation.
Academically and within the school community, Lily ranks in the top five percent of her class and is involved in numerous organizations, including the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, Student Council, PALS, and Yearbook. She is also a member of the National Charity League Lone Star Chapter and previously participated in the Spanish National Honor Society and Academic Decathlon.
Outside of dance and school, Lily enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, being outdoors, photography, and reading.
After graduation, Lily plans to attend a four-year university to study biological sciences, with the goal of becoming a wildlife biologist or conservationist. Congratulations, Lily!
