HEATH, TX (April 28, 2026) Maddie Edgin is a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School and the daughter of Margaret Horton. Maddie began her dance journey in elementary school at RDA and later continued her passion for dance as a member of the Cain Middle School Drill Team during 7th and 8th grade. She has spent the past four years performing as a member of the Rockwall-Heath High School Highsteppers, where she has grown both as a dancer and as an individual.
Reflecting on her years in drill team, Maddie shares that she is most proud of the growth she has experienced along the way. Through her time in the program, she has strengthened her dance skills while also developing confidence and personal growth that will carry with her beyond high school. Academically, Maddie is a member of the National Honor Society.
Outside of dance and school, Maddie enjoys spending time with friends, babysitting, and expressing her creativity through crafts.
Following graduation, Maddie plans to attend Texas A&M University, where she intends to pursue a degree in psychology. Congratulations, Maddie!
