HEATH, TX (April 17, 2026) Rachel Kapinskis, a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School, is the daughter of Amber and Kevin Kapinskis. She currently serves as a Line Officer for the Rockwall-Heath High School Highsteppers. Rachel has spent several years developing her love for dance, training at Royalty Dance Academy for four years and Providence Performing Arts Center for one year before continuing her journey through drill team. She danced at Cain Middle School for two years and went on to spend four years performing with the Rockwall-Heath High School drill team.
One of Rachel’s proudest moments in dance was when her line officer dance earned first place. She says the victory was especially rewarding because the team came together and delivered a strong performance with limited rehearsal time.
At school, Rachel is involved in HOSA and is working toward becoming a registered dental assistant.
Outside of dance and school, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also spends time shadowing at dental clinics and working.
After graduation, Rachel plans to attend Texas Tech University, where she intends to major in marketing and journalism while possibly pursuing a pre-dental track. She hopes to one day return to the Rockwall area and remain close to her family. Congratulations, Rachel!
