Rockwall Meals on Wheels readies for ‘Older Americans Day’ celebration May 8

ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX (April 22, 2026) Meals on Wheels Senior Services is preparing for the Older Americans Day Celebration. This year’s theme is “Champion Your Health.”

Each May, Rockwall County organizations, the five city mayors, city government, and individuals nominate several outstanding seniors (or those who serve them) to receive an award for making a difference in our community at large.

This celebration will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Divine Peace Fellowship Hall, 305 S. Fannin St, Rockwall, TX 75087.
