HEATH, TX (May 4, 2026) Olivia Williams is a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School and the daughter of Margaret Horton. Olivia began dancing at the age of seven, initially taking ballet and tap before taking a break from dance for a few years. In fifth grade, she rediscovered her passion for dance and began training again at Providence PAC, where she danced for three years in preparation for drill team.
Olivia was a member of the Silver Pack Dancers at Utley Middle School during seventh and eighth grade. In high school, she earned a spot on the JV Starsteppers her freshman year before moving up to Varsity Highsteppers for her junior and senior years.
Reflecting on her dance journey, Olivia says she is most proud of winning nationals during her junior year and achieving a clean sweep during her senior season. She was also honored as Highstepper of the Week and received both the Barbie Award and the Steps Award. These recognitions were especially meaningful to her because they celebrated not only her dancing, but also her leadership, work ethic, and character within the team.
Outside of dance and school, Olivia enjoys going to church, taking walks, spending time with friends, and babysitting.
After graduation, Olivia plans to attend cosmetology school to pursue a career as a professional hairdresser. She hopes to specialize in cut, color, and curls, creating styles that help people feel confident and express themselves. Congratulations, Olivia!
