ROCKWALL, TX (May 6, 2026) Sophia DuPont is our next Stingerette Senior Spotlight. Sophia is the daughter of Angie and Brent DuPont. She is a three-year member of the team and currently holds the title of Miss Perfect Beautiful for the 2025–2026 year. Sophia has been recognized as Stingerette of the Week in 2025, as well as Squad Standout and Hip Hop team in 2026. Sophia was honored with titles such as Kindest Spirit (2024–2025), Positive Polly (2024), and “Most Dramatic” in both the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 years. She was a Jacket Babe from 2022-2023.
Sophia contributed to the ADTS Overall Best of the Best National Championship Team in 2026, as well as the ADTS National Champion Super Team and ADTS Best of the Best Team in 2024. She also competed at MA Nationals in 2025. Her performance experiences include participating in the Disney Imagination Campus Performance Workshop and performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2024.
Beyond drill team, Sophia excels academically and in leadership. She ranks in the top 10% of her graduating class and is an AP Scholar with Honor (2025). She is a member of the National Honor Society (2023–2026) and Mu Alpha Theta (2024–2026). Sophia is also a two-time recipient of the Rockwall ISD Trustee Award of Excellence (2024 and 2025). In addition, she earned the prestigious Girl Scouts of the USA Gold Award in 2026, demonstrating her commitment to service and leadership in her community.
In the fall, Sophia will attend The University of Texas at Dallas, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences.
