DALLAS, TX (June 25, 2026) Givingmas, a fast-growing Dallas based 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission to strenghten local communities by identifying and supporting families who are actively working to overcome hardship, is proud to share they have been named a finalist for the 2026 D CEO Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards.
Givingmas was selected in the Capital One Mobility Forward Award category, recognizing organizations that help families overcome transportation barriers and create pathways to stability and opportunity.
Out of nearly 900 nominations, Givingmas is one of 136 finalists overall and one of only three finalists in this category. This honor reflects the incredible support of its donors, volunteers, and community partners.
Thanks to the generosity and support of partners like Planet Ford, Classic Chevrolet, Cowboy Toyota and several others, Givingmas has provided more than $55,000 in car repairs, over $25,000 in insurance support, and gifted seven vehicles valued at over $110,000 to families in need. Every repaired vehicle and every set of keys represents renewed independence, employment stability, and hope.
D CEO winners will be announced in July.
It’s a handup—not a handout.
Givingmas is led by CEO and Founder, Mike Keating, the organization’s sole full-time staff member. He’s supported by a dedicated team of volunteer board members and community leaders who give their time, expertise, and heart to help families thrive. Together, they’re proof that a small team can make a big impact.
How Givingmas supports families
Each family’s journey begins with a nomination and a comprehensive needs assessment. From there, we build a tailored support plan. Families don’t follow a fixed curriculum; instead, they access only the services relevant to their goals and challenges. They meet regularly to track progress, adjust support, and celebrate wins.
